Going barefoot outside... "What?" you say.

As a child going barefoot outdoors is not given a second thought, yet as adults many of us would never think of taking our shoes off outside. By avoiding being outside sans shoes we are missing out on huge mental and physical benefits.

The process of being outdoors barefoot or otherwise touching the earth is known as Grounding or Earthing. Grounding was widely practiced in the past and still is in other countries but very seldom in the U.S. The more time you can spend connected to the earth the more benefits you will reap.

As spring rolls in spend a few minutes a day outside sans shoes and enjoy...

  • Reduced stress

  • Less anxiety

  • Better quality of sleep

  • Uplifted mood

  • Less inflammation

  • Stronger immune system
